About this property

Welcome to St Pancras Inn

Located on Caledonian Road in a mostly residential area, St Pancras Inn offers a practical base close to King’s Cross and St Pancras international stations. The neighborhood features a range of indie shops along Upper Street, the vibrant Camden Passage market, and a lively arts scene, making it well-suited for visitors interested in exploring local culture and central London attractions.

This three-star hotel provides modest, air-conditioned rooms that guests describe as compact but comfortable and clean. Rooms come equipped with essential amenities like free Wi-Fi and room temperature control, though some guests have noted the smaller size and limited storage space. Noise from nearby traffic or the underground can be noticeable at times, so light sleepers may want to keep this in mind.

The property includes convenient facilities such as a business center, laundry service, and airport shuttle, but it does not offer parking, a pool, fitness center, or on-site dining options. Guests praise the friendly and helpful reception staff and smooth check-in and check-out processes, with check-in from 14:00 and check-out by 11:00.

Proximity to popular sites like The British Museum, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and The National Gallery adds to the appeal for those wanting easy access to London’s main cultural highlights. The location also provides reasonable travel times to Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted airports via car or public transit.

Overall, St Pancras Inn suits travelers seeking an affordable, centrally located hotel for short stays or business trips. While some aspects such as room size and noise levels receive mixed feedback, guests often appreciate the value and convenience it offers near a major transport hub.

The staff were extremely welcoming at reception so it all started off very well! We were very happy with our room - very nicely furnished and a comfortable bed. The hotel is about 5 minute walk from the train station so a perfect location. All in all a very nice place to stay. Thank you. My only recommendation to the hotel management would be to consider using sound-proofing seals around the doors - I see a few other people have mentioned that the doors were noisy in the night. Although we didn't experience this, I did notice that this was missing and it could resolve the problem.

We've been going to the St Pancras Inn every year since it opened. It's our go to hotel when we need a comfortable yet affordable stay in the center of London (within short walking distance from St Pancras station). The rooms are small yet perfectly furnished. The beds, sheets and pillows are VERY comfortable. You can arrange the temperature of the room easily. The water in the shower is instantly and perfectly hot, easy to handle. The staff is very friendly, always there to help out or to answer any question you have. There is someone at the reception 24/7. It's a very small hotel, so it's perfect if you just need a place to stay and spend the whole day outsite. There is not much space to be "outside of your room". Which is not a problem since there are so many places to be in the surroundings but important to know. You cannot really work in a lobby or such. Also, there is no lift and the stairs are quite narrow, so bare that in mind. Luckily there are ground floor rooms available that you can request if the stairs are a problem. If you need to check in or out on other timings, that is usually possible for a small extra fee. Luggage can always be dropped outside of checking hours for no extra fee. So if I summarise: we can only recommand this place and will definitely be back ourselves! See you next year ;-)

I stayed one night at St Pancras Inn while travelling solo and had a great experience. The staff were welcoming and professional, the room was clean and good value for money, and the location right by St Pancras is extremely convenient for travel. An ideal option for a short stay in London.

I booked a compact double room for one week alone. Arrived very early in the morning because of my flight, the reception was very welcoming, caring and helpful, and ensured my luggage can be stored until my room is ready. Check-in was quick and smooth. My room was small and cosy, but as I was travelling alone, it was fine for me, but I know it would have personally been too small for me if there would have been a 2nd person with me in this room, because of lack of space for luggage and clothes storage. What i forgot to check before booking the room is that my room did not have a closet (i do have a few hangers in the room), a safe and a hairdryer, but that was my mistake for not being aware of that. Unfortunately i could only use my hairdryer next to the bed, as the outlet in the bathroom only works for rasors. The room also had an AC, TV and UK outlets but also 2 outlets to charge your phone with the USB Type A. Wifi also worked well. For breakfast I always had the freshly made avocado toast, which was good and not to complain about.

Great option for short stays when in London for work. A little bit noisy due to location on the Caledonian Road which may bother some.

Room was beautiful and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Although it was a typical small London room, it was well designed so you felt like it was spacious and had more floor space. Note, you can hear the underground but didn't bother me or affect my sleep. Staff were lovely and check in/out was smooth. Very close to the station

This a perfect little hotel near King’s Cross and St Pancras international station. This hotel is not really for the people on vacation as such. This is for the travellers that need a little hotel room that’s affordable for the night. The staff are excellent! Helpful and kind putting you at ease. I came in late, I had pre booked as I just needed a place for the night. The gentleman at the front desk helped me with my bag and went out of his way to help me as I was incredibly tired. Yes the room was small and I had a Single Bed (twin sized bed for American travellers) BUT the bed was comfortable and so much softer than the 4 star hotel that I had been staying in all week on a business trip abroad. Seriously the most comfortable thing I’ve sat on in 5 days. And if you call the front desk on your phone (the room doesn’t have one) they will bring you up a hairdryer. The staff are incredibly professional they are a credit to the establishment and deserve all the praise! They set the tone and are wonderful. I can’t thank them enough for everything. The bathroom is beautiful and well designed for the small space. The shower had good water pressure and I could choose between a rain shower head or shower head with a hose and you can adjust the pressure on the handheld shower head. Very relaxing shower. If you are looking for a hotel that’s affordable, comfortable, and close to King’s Cross/St Pancras and the tube it’s a great place. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay while exploring London it’s not a bad choice either. I should mention that they offer breakfast, for a fee, but I didn’t try it. Sorry no personal pictures but there are pictures by other folks who have reviewed. I stole a picture offline of my exact room and it is exactly what I expected. There was a bottle of water in the room for me when I checked in and I was grateful for it. Thank you so much St Pancras Inn!
